Parkinson’s Disease Help is committed to publishing clear, accurate, and useful information. This page explains how we research, write, and review the content on this site.
Sources
We prioritize information from primary medical sources: peer-reviewed research, established medical organizations (such as the Parkinson’s Foundation, Michael J. Fox Foundation, American Academy of Neurology, NIH, and NHS), and clinical guidelines. When we cite a claim, we link to the underlying source whenever possible.
How articles are written
Articles are researched and written by our editorial team using authoritative medical sources. Our writers are not your doctors; their job is to translate clinical information into plain language and to flag where readers should follow up with their own clinician. Where appropriate, articles are reviewed for clarity and accuracy before publication.
Updates and corrections
Medical knowledge evolves. We review and update articles as new evidence emerges. If you spot an error, please contact us and we will review and correct it. Substantive corrections are noted on the article.
Independence and advertising
Editorial decisions are made independently of any advertiser, sponsor, or partner. We do not allow third parties to influence the content, conclusions, or recommendations in our articles. Sponsored or affiliate content, if present, is clearly labeled.
What we will not publish
We do not publish miracle-cure claims, content that contradicts established medical consensus without strong evidence, content that promotes unproven treatments as substitutes for care, or content written purely to manipulate search rankings.
